Therefore, <strong>set itself the goal of designing a new method that would provide more insight into how the passage of vehicles influences the road.<\/strong> and ended up creating the device <strong>UGR-FACT<\/strong>. The success was such that it made him worthy of the<strong> award for \"Best Communication 2015\".<\/strong> awarded by the Spanish Association of Asphalt Mix Manufacturers (ASEFMA), to which 37 other projects aspired, <strong>and the Robert L'Hermite medal<\/strong>one of the most prestigious awards in the sector.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">With the collaboration of Servosis, the Laboratory of Construction Engineering (LabIC), headed by Fernando Moreno, designed a<strong> A lightweight device, with reduced dimensions, that allows the evaluation of both individual bituminous mixtures and complete pavement sections and anti-crack solutions.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">For its part, <strong>Servosis was exclusively commissioned to manufacture a tool that allows high repeatability and reproducibility in its compression and bending cycles.<\/strong> After an arduous process, complete adaptability to the needs of the user was achieved, so that <strong>the number of cycles, weight or frequency can be defined by the research leader<\/strong> and obtain, in addition, an infinite number of <strong>data from the sensors<\/strong> the tool. Given the good results, <strong>It is expected that in the future its implementation will become a national and international standard.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The relationship between the University of Granada and Servosis dates back to the birth of the company in a show of commitment to national research and training.
