Strain extensometer or strain transducer

Home Blog extensometry

A Extensometer A strain gauge or transducer is a device used to measure the variation in the extension of a test specimen, also known as deformation measurement.

At Servosis We design and manufacture specific extensometers for tensile tests, compression tests, axial and diametrical measurements, etc., and we have a wide range of extensometers for direct measurement of the deformations produced in the specimens during the tests.

Our range of extensometers

Among our range of models we can find the following;

  • Pneumatic automatic clamping
  • Manual clamping with blades, with punch
  • Digital measurement using an encoder-type sensor
  • Analog measurement using LVDT. Wheatstone bridge.
  • Measurement using artificial vision camera

In addition to incorporating this equipment into our testing machines, we can offer stand-alone measurement equipment with analog or digital signal outputs for use with any type of data acquisition equipment.
