Straightening
To validate whether the conditions of the steel bars are correct for sale, manufacturers must test pieces of this material in a tensile machine, but prior to this test, the bars must be straightened. This process is usually done manually, but in Servosis we have in our catalog a machine that straightens these bars, offering a very interesting solution, since this process is much more efficient.
The manufacture of this machine complies with the Structural Concrete Instruction. Annex 23, published by the Comisión Permanente del Hormigón del Ministerio de Transportes, Movilidad, y Agenda Urbana.
There are two models:
- A manual one (Mod EBM), where the rollers straightening the bar are manually regulated by handwheels.
- An automatic one (Mod EBA), where the straightening rollers are adjusted hydraulically.
Both models are available in the following versions:
-14: For bars from Ø8 to Ø14.
-25: For bars from Ø 16 to Ø 25.
The process of straightening steel bars, both smooth and corrugated, is simplified with the use of this type of machine, the user only has to select the diameter of the bar to be straightened.
