Straightening of metal samples
To validate if the condition of the steel bars is correct for sale, the manufacturers of the metal samples should testing pieces of this material on a tensile machineHowever, prior to this test, the bars must be straightened. This process is usually carried out manually, but in Servosis we have in our catalog a machine that straightens these bars.This offers a very interesting solution, since it this process is much more efficient.
The manufacture of this machine complies with the Instrucción de Hormigón Estructural. Annex 23, published by the Comisión Permanente del Hormigón del Ministerio de Transportes, Movilidad, y Agenda Urbana.
Two models are available for metal samples:
- One manual (Mod EBM), where the rollers that straighten the bar are manually adjusted by handwheels.
- One automatic (Mod EBA), where the straightening rollers are hydraulically regulated.
Both models can be found in the following versions:
-14: For bars from Ø8 to Ø14.
-25: For bars from Ø 16 to Ø 25.
The straightening process of steel bars, both plain and rebar, is simplified with the use of this type of machine.The user only has to select the diameter of the bar to be straightened.
